Hi Paul! Could you tell us when and why you decided to form the club?

The club was born out of the rally Subaru scene in late 2008, with the club expanding through busy following years.

When and why did you start getting into Subarus?

Again it was the rally scene with the likes of Colin McCrae and Richard Burns, plus the spectacular rally Subaru’s - and of course those flat-four boxer engine sounds!

What plans do you have for the club going forward?

We have completed loads of events in the past including charity events, runs & shows.  The club will be attending many more events, shows, and of course our monthly meets at Retro’s!

What's your favourite Subaru?

It has to be the 22b - ultimate classic!

If Subaru didn't exist, what would you be driving?

Probably something with that glorious flat boxer engine! VW Beetle, maybe a Porsche!

When and where do you meet?

Meets are the first Sunday of every month at Retro’s at the Rising Sun in Blaina.

Do you have any shout outs, businesses etc?

Race Dynamics, Duncan the engine tuner, Advanced Automotive, ICP, and all the hard working Scooby businesses!

Finally, what is your favourite driving song?

Favourite song - that's a difficult one! Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild, that’s a cracker!
